Since 1973, WVADS, Inc. and its staff have received countless awards and special recognitions for their service, dedication, and contributions to the field of addiction.  Some of these notable accomplishments and achievements are:

• On August 10, 2009 the Board of Directors held a naming ceremony and re-named the 437 North Main Street offices to the Carmen F. Ambrosino Professional Office Building in honor of his dedicated years of service to the agency; June 1, 1973 to Present.
