They say you need to be sick and tired of being sick and tired before you accept help. That fits me perfectly. After failed rehab experiences, psychiatric units, and 2 stays in jail, I tried to end my life. Thank God I was then referred to WVADS. They treat you with the utmost in respect and dignity. They never quit on me and introduced me to their STEPPING STONES program. I attended every session and one day the light went on. I realized that every consequence I had in my life, I was drinking or drugging at the time. 18 months clean, working, enjoying time with my kids. As they say, “It doesn’t get any better than this. Thanks WVADS!
